Privacy policy

The New Mysteries. Last updated: June 2026. The New Mysteries (the "Church," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address) submitted through registration forms, contact forms, or newsletter signups
  • Application responses submitted when applying for Church programs
  • Payment information processed through our payment provider (we do not store payment card details directly; see section 4)
  • Communications you send to us via email or contact forms

Information collected automatically: basic website usage data, including pages visited, time on site, and browser type, collected through standard website analytics tools, and cookie data (see section 5).

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process program registrations and applications
  • Deliver physical goods (including The Anabasis and The Calyx) to your shipping address
  • Send program-related emails and communications you have opted into
  • Respond to inquiries and provide pastoral support
  • Maintain records required for church and nonprofit compliance
  • Improve our website and program offerings

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Email communications

By submitting your email address through any form on this website, you may be added to The New Mysteries mailing list. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time.

Program-related emails (including emails related to an active enrollment) are considered operational communications and may be sent regardless of marketing preferences for the duration of your program. If you opt out, this removes the ability to receive these operational communications.

4. Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate our website and programs. Each has its own privacy practices: our website is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard server logs. We use Zoho Forms to collect registration and application data, Zoho CRM to manage participant records, and Zoho Campaigns to send email communications; your information is stored within the Zoho platform. Payment processing for program registrations is handled through Zoho Checkout; payment card information is processed securely by Zoho's payment infrastructure and is not stored by The New Mysteries.

5. Cookies

This website uses cookies, small text files placed on your device, to support basic site functionality and analytics. By continuing to use this website, you consent to our use of cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect certain site functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, and to maintain records required for church administration. If you wish to request deletion of your data, please contact us using the information below.

7. Children's privacy

This website and our programs are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately and we will remove it promptly.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the address below.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
